We Set Out to Bring the Best Wines of Italy to Texas.

Traveling through the unknown parts of Italy, Cross Mountain Vineyards curates only the best Italian wines to bring back to Texas. From our travels we bring home only small batch, artesian wines, exclusive to our winery and for our club members.

Our Story

In 1847, German immigrant John Christian Durst was assigned a 10 acre plot in Fredericksburg TX, which included a 120‘ mountain. Durst pushed through the brush and discovered the remains of a wooden cross. Durst erected the cross to honor the land God had provided his family.

A winemaker himself, Durst was known to value his faith, family and friends over a good glass of wine. Four generations later, we hope our wine provides time for you to reflect on how important your faith, family and friends are.

Through their passion for Italian wines, The Evans family is dedicated to bringing Fredericksburg the best wines Italy has to offer. The Evans family has strong ties to Fredericksburg and wine, it takes them back four generations.
